Mod music for the 21st century!
Bio
Behind the Music
The Fabulous Bordellos were formed out of a need to play gutsy music with some attitude and get it out to the people. Initially the concentration was on new wave music which took the band in a certain direction, taking us to the likes of Paul Weller and the Jam, this lead swiftly on to the Who and the Small Faces, it seemed that with the Mod avenue the band was travelling on, we had found our niche. The 80s Mod revival has provided yet more material and with our present line up of Al on guitars, Gio on drums, Nev on bass and Guy belting out lead vocals, we have a versatile and experienced band. The FBs have played all around the country, from Nottingham Boat club and Mansfield down to Earls Court, London (British Beer Fest), we have supported 'From the Jam', 'Big Country', 'Secret Affair' and '9 Below Zero' amongst others and look forward to seeing you at a gig soon.
